The capital’s police have detained the suspects in the robbery at Keremet Bank, the press service of the city’s police department said.
The office, located at the intersection of Bokonbaev Street and Manas Avenue, was broken into by two masked men.
They attacked the security guard, who had no weapons other than a rubber baton. The attackers seized the funds from the cashier’s booth and then disappeared.
Two men were arrested – S.A., born in 1975, and A.N., born in 1983. Material evidence included a Makarov combat pistol and a traumatic PM type, both with erased numbers and cartridges, as well as live ammunition.
