On September 11, a citizen applied to the State Committee for National Security with a request to take action against the judge of the Kara-Suu region “A.Zh.S.”, who extorted money from him. According to the victim, the judge demanded a bribe for making a positive decision in his favor.
Photos published by the State Committee for National Security show copies of several 100-dollar bills, but the size of the bribe received was not disclosed.
In October last year, the State Committee for National Security detained a judge of the Kara-Kul City Court, Pamirbek Ymanbekov, while receiving a bribe of 20,000 soms. At the same time, the judge extorted 100 thousand soms for making a positive decision. In February of this year, President Sooronbai Jeenbekov removed this judge from work during the investigation.
