Inspector Banks meets Inspector Borubaev
I was already a big fan of Peter Robinson’s DCI Banks books before I met him at the Emirates Literature Festival in 2015.
My debut novel, A KILLING WINTER, had just been published, and Peter did me the great compliment of writing ‘Just keeps getting better… buy the whole series right away’, to be used on the cover of my books.
Peter’s death is a great loss to crime fiction, but we have one last DCI Banks book to look forward to, STANDING IN THE SHADOWS, to be published next year.
